The terms, plainly
How a sale is credited
An order counts when your code is on it. Your share link applies the code to the cart automatically, so your audience doesn't have to remember it.
When it's approved
Commission is approved 14 days after the order is paid - a buffer for returns.
When you're paid
Payouts run monthly, on the 15th, for commissions approved by then. Balances under $50.00 roll over to the next run.
Refunds
If an order is refunded, the commission on it is reduced by the same proportion. We never claw back money already paid to you.

Questions
By your code. When someone orders with your code applied, that order is yours. Your share link applies the code to their cart for them, so in practice they don't have to type anything - but the code does have to be on the order.
Commission is approved after a short hold following payment, which covers the return window. Approved commission is paid monthly once your balance passes the minimum; anything under it rolls over to the next run.
The commission on it is reduced by the same proportion, or removed entirely on a full refund. We never claw back money already paid to you.
You're welcome to use it for the discount, but your own orders don't earn commission.
